This quality-crafted dreadnought uses the icZ Acoustic System, including the lateral compression soundboard, a continually adjustable neck, and a torque-reducing split bridge. The icZ system produces pure tone, more projection, action adjustments that can be performed on-the-fly, and more adjustable intonation.It also features a solid spruce soundboard, solid mahogany back and sides, rosewood bridge, rosewood fretboard, mahogany neck, black binding, 25-1/2" scale length, and sealed black tuners.Lateral compression soundboardLateral compression is created by anchoring the strings directly to the guitar soundboard. This stored energy is released acoustically as the guitar is played. The increased strength inherent in the design allows more delicate internal soundboard bracing.Continually adjustable neckAllows quick, easy, on-the-fly adjustments of the string height without altering scale length or neck pitch. The Identity Series guitars are handcrafted with a focus on functionality, ergonomics, and quality construction. The Identity Acute Auditorium has a cutaway auditorium body and features a vertical lift neck that allows on-the-fly action adjustments with the turn of an Allen key! It also utilizes the "icZ" Acoustic System, an innovative bridge design that increases the instrument's sonic range and dynamic response. By removing the strings from the bridge and anchoring them to the top of the guitar, lateral compression is created and the soundboard becomes fully energized. This results in a new level of sonic purity. Because there is very little stress on the center of the soundboard (the most flexible part), standard X-bracing can be replaced by a much more delicate and lighter bracing pattern. Notes ring true past the fifth fret, and the classic "choked" bass notes are freed once and for all.
